Finished kitchens and bathrooms from around the Portland area, with the story behind each one: what the homeowners wanted, what we ran into, and how we solved it.
The homeowners host big family gatherings and wanted a kitchen built for it: more storage, an island everyone can gather around, and a clear line of sight into the living and dining rooms. Demolition turned up a structural problem that could have closed the plan back up. It didn't.
Two people, two routines, two very different ideas of the perfect bathroom. We designed a separate bath for each homeowner, plus a walk-in linen closet, and made the three spaces feel like one suite.
A retirement home on the golf course came with a primary bathroom that worked against its owner: a sunken tub that was risky to step into, carpet on the floor, and a glass-block wall that let in light but not much privacy. We rebuilt it as a curbless, nature-inspired shower suite she can use comfortably for years.
